Focused and determined are just two words to describe Anthony Frazier, owner of High Volume Music, Sunnyside Posse Mgmt and Promotions and former president of Hard Edge Entertainment. Having been in the music and entertainment business for over twenty years, Anthony has been at the forefront of the music industry in the City Of Houston.

His humble beginnings started as Anthony honed his skills writing articles for such Houston based publications as Houston Forward Times Magazine, Houston Style Magazine and his very own newsletter High Volume 3594, which later became a music store. Anthony also worked at what was then known as Sound Warehouse records and tapes and the very popular Soundwaves Franchise, where he developed his entrepreneurial talents and knowledge. As owner of High Volume Music, Anthony has helped propel sells of many artists into the super star stratosphere, including Alicia Keys, Eric Benet and Destiny’s Child. Through the years, Anthony has been awarded many platinum and gold plaques and many awards including the prestigious retailer of the year award from Impact Magazine.

After being in many bands through the years, Anthony formed his own band in 1999 called Collective Hallucination. He says they are poised to take over the recording industry with their incredible brand of Funk Rock and Soul. The band to this date has performed at venues in the Texas, Louisiana and Florida. Collective Hallucination has opened for George Clinton, Lalah Hathaway, Los Lonely Boys and others.

In late 2000, Anthony closed his storefront and moved his business to the World Wide Web, which has seen an impressive amount of business in a short period of time. Anthony was also hired by Hard Edge Entertainment to help lead them into what will certainly become one of the hottest and most successful entertainment companies based out of Houston. Focusing his energies on 2005 and beyond as kept Anthony very busy as of late, and he says he wouldn’t have it any other way. He’s the host of The High Volume Music Show which airs on Tuesday nights on www.localsounds.net, He’s also host of Spot One, President and crew of his one man record label High Volume Music Recordings, he teaches basic guitar and he’s writing and producing a new artist and working on many different ventures with his band Collective Hallucination.
