Oh Wow Stacy, Kmonte' and Jamonte'!!!
So we rehearsed last night in preparations for the Prince tribute concert which will be held November 15th and it was incredible.
So many of you know about Stacy, who sings with Collective Hallucination on many shows. I don't have to go into how awesome she is.
What I'll do instead is talk about Jamonte' Black and Kmonte'!
Let me start by saying Kmonte' is, hands down, one of my favorite male vocalist in Houston. Dude got some pipes on him! So we were blazing through some Prince tunes and Kmonte' opened his mouth to sing and it was back in the day all over again for me!!
Then Jamonte' Black, along with Stacy, started belting out those background vocals and it was like Oh My GOD..
So, anyway, as we periodically watched the tv, (election night), it dawned on me that I was in the room with greatness.
